About Avieel

AI-powered meal decisions

Avieel was built for one reason: deciding what to eat is surprisingly hard. Not because good food is scarce, but because the options are overwhelming. Avieel cuts through the noise by suggesting complete meal combinations — an anchor dish paired with the right sides — matched to your time of day, your location, and your personal taste.

What is a combo?

Every suggestion on Avieel is a combo: one anchor dish (the centrepiece of your meal) paired with one or two sides, and optionally an accent — a condiment, chutney, or small addition that ties everything together. Think biryani with raita and pickle, or a dosa with sambar and coconut chutney.

How recommendations work

Avieel takes into account where you are, what time it is, and what you've told us you enjoy. An AI scoring model weighs cuisine affinity, dish compatibility, and your interaction history to surface combos that feel right — and get better the more you use it. Dishes are paired using curated compatibility rules built around regional cuisine traditions. Set a dietary preference — vegetarian or vegan — and every combo, plan, and recipe respects it automatically.

Plan your week, not just your next meal

Liking combos is only the start. The meal planner lays out a full week, slot by slot, so you can see breakfast through dinner at a glance. Not in the mood to plan manually? Auto-fill week builds the whole week for you in one click, drawing on your taste and dietary preferences. Once your week is set, generate a shopping list from it automatically — every ingredient across every planned dish, consolidated into one list — and export your plan as a PDF or image to print, share, or keep offline.

Recipes and ingredients

Most dishes on Avieel come with a full recipe: ingredients with exact amounts, step-by-step instructions, prep and cook time, and serving size — everything you need to actually cook the combo you were served, not just admire it. Don't see a dish you want to plan around? You can add your own custom dish while building a meal plan.

The food

We started with the cuisines of South and North India — North Malabar, Chettinad, Hyderabadi, Punjabi, and more — and we're growing the catalogue steadily. Surprise mode lets you explore cross-cuisine pairings you might never have thought of.
