Ingredients
| 2 large | raw mangoes |
| 4 cups | water |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | black salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon | roasted cumin powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | black pepper powder |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh mint leaves |

Instructions
- 1 Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
- 2 Roast the mangoes over an open flame or on a grill until the skin is charred and the mangoes become soft.
- 3 Allow the roasted mangoes to cool, then peel off the charred skin.
- 4 Scoop out the pulp and discard the seeds.
- 5 In a blender, combine the mango pulp, water, sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, and black pepper powder.
- 6 Blend until smooth and the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 7 Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any fibrous parts.
- 8 Chill the shorbot in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 9 Before serving, add ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Tips
Adjust the sugar and spices according to your taste preference. Roasting the mangoes enhances the smoky flavor of the shorbot.
