| 2 scoops | vanilla gelato or ice cream |
| 1 cup | freshly brewed espresso |
Instructions
- 1 Chill serving glasses or cups in the freezer for about 10 minutes to keep the affogato cold longer.
- 2 Prepare the espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
- 3 Place one scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream into each chilled glass or cup.
- 4 Pour half of the freshly brewed espresso over each scoop of gelato or ice cream.
- 5 Serve immediately with a spoon.
Tips
For a richer flavor, use high-quality espresso and gelato. You can also add a splash of liqueur like amaretto or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for extra indulgence.
