Ingredients

| 2 slices | whole wheat bread |
| 1 cup | hash browns |
| 1 tablespoon | butter |
| 1/4 cup | milk |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon | black pepper |
| 2 tablespoons | ketchup |
| — | maple syrup for serving |
Instructions
- 1 Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- 2 Cook the bacon slices in the skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3 In the same skillet, add the hash browns and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
- 4 In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
- 5 Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat, then pour in the egg mixture.
- 6 Gently stir the eggs with a spatula until they are softly set and slightly runny in places, about 3-4 minutes.
- 7 Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- 8 Serve the scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast on a plate.
- 9 Add ketchup to the hash browns and maple syrup to the toast if desired.
Tips
For fluffier scrambled eggs, whisk the eggs vigorously to incorporate more air.
