Ingredients

4 large eggs
4 slices bacon
2 slices whole wheat bread
1 cup hash browns
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons ketchup
maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2 Cook the bacon slices in the skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. 3 In the same skillet, add the hash browns and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
  4. 4 In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5 Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat, then pour in the egg mixture.
  6. 6 Gently stir the eggs with a spatula until they are softly set and slightly runny in places, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. 7 Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  8. 8 Serve the scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast on a plate.
