Ingredients
| 250 grams | paneer |
| 1 cup | gram flour (besan) |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | coriander powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | garam masala |
| 1 teaspoon | carom seeds (ajwain) |
| 1 tablespoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 2 tablespoons | lemon juice |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | fresh coriander leaves, chopped |
| 1 cup | water |

Instructions
- 1 Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.
- 2 In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, carom seeds, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3 Gradually add water to the mixture to form a smooth batter. The consistency should be thick enough to coat the paneer.
- 4 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 5 Dip each paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated.
- 6 Carefully place the coated paneer cubes into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
- 7 Remove the fried paneer with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 8 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
Tips
For a tangier flavor, you can add a bit more lemon juice to the batter.
