Ingredients
| 50 grams | fresh ginger |
| 3 | green chillies |
| 2 tablespoons | mustard oil |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | lime juice |
Instructions
- 1 Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
- 2 Chop the green chillies into small pieces.
- 3 Heat mustard oil in a pan until it starts to smoke, then let it cool slightly.
- 4 In a blender, add the ginger, green chillies, salt, sugar, and lime juice.
- 5 Pour the cooled mustard oil into the blender.
- 6 Blend all the ingredients to a smooth paste.
- 7 Taste and adjust salt or lime juice if needed.
- 8 Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.
Tips
For a milder chutney, remove the seeds from the chillies before blending.
