Ingredients
| 1 cup | ripe pineapple, chopped |
| 1 cup | ripe mango, chopped |
| 1 cup | grated coconut |
| 3 tablespoons | jaggery |
| 1 teaspoon | mustard seeds |
| 2 teaspoons | red chili powder |
| 1 pinch | asafoetida |
| 1 pinch | turmeric powder |
| 1 cup | water |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 In a blender, grind the grated coconut, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and a small amount of water to form a smooth paste.
- 2 In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pineapple, chopped mango, and the ground coconut paste.
- 3 Add jaggery and salt to the mixture and mix well.
- 4 In a small pan, heat a little oil and add mustard seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- 5 Add asafoetida to the pan and immediately pour the tempering over the fruit and coconut mixture.
- 6 Mix everything well and adjust the consistency with water if needed.
- 7 Let the flavors meld for about 10 minutes before serving.

Use fresh and ripe fruits for the best flavor.
