Ingredients

3 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon amchur (dried mango powder)
1 green chili, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 lemon, juiced
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and cut them into cubes.
  2. 2 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds.
  3. 3 Once the cumin seeds splutter, add the cubed potatoes and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4 Add red chili powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, amchur, and salt. Mix well to coat the potatoes evenly.
  5. 5 Add the chopped green chili and sauté for another minute.
  6. 6 Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
  7. 7 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and drizzle lemon juice on top before serving.

Tips

For a tangier taste, add more lemon juice or a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds.
