Ingredients
| 3 medium | potatoes |
| 2 tablespoons | oil |
| 1 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | chaat masala |
| 1 teaspoon | coriander powder |
| 1 teaspoon | amchur (dried mango powder) |
| 1 | green chili, finely chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh coriander leaves, chopped |
| 1 | lemon, juiced |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and cut them into cubes.
- 2 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds.
- 3 Once the cumin seeds splutter, add the cubed potatoes and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- 4 Add red chili powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, amchur, and salt. Mix well to coat the potatoes evenly.
- 5 Add the chopped green chili and sauté for another minute.
- 6 Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
- 7 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and drizzle lemon juice on top before serving.
Tips
For a tangier taste, add more lemon juice or a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds.
