1 pinch asafoetida
1 tablespoon chana dal
1 tablespoon urad dal
2 green chilies, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric powder

2 tablespoons grated coconut
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped

  7. 7 Add the cooked peas to the pan, mix well, and season with salt to taste.

  9. 9 Turn off the heat and add grated coconut, lemon juice, and fresh coriander leaves.
  10. 10 Mix everything well and serve hot.

Tips

For a richer flavor, you can add a small piece of ginger while sautéing the onions.
