Ingredients

2 medium potatoes
1 cup rice flour
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons semolina
2 tablespoons oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. 2 In a bowl, mix rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  3. 3 Coat each potato slice in the rice flour mixture.
  4. 4 Sprinkle semolina over the coated potato slices for extra crispiness.
  5. 5 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. 6 Shallow fry the potato slices until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  7. 7 Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
  8. 8 Serve hot as a side dish or snack.
