Ingredients

250 grams beef, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup potato, boiled and mashed
1 egg, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp coconut oil
salt to taste
oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent.
  2. 2 Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3 Add the minced beef and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. 4 Mix in black pepper, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  5. 5 Cook the mixture until the spices are well incorporated and the beef is dry.
  6. 6 Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. 7 In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with mashed potatoes.
  8. 8 Shape the mixture into small, flat cutlets.
  9. 9 Dip each cutlet into the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  10. 10 Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  11. 11 Fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  12. 12 Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Tips

For a more authentic taste, use freshly ground spices.
