Besan Ladoo
Veg
Chickpea flour (besan) roasted in ghee until nutty and golden, then mixed with powdered sugar, cardamom, and a pinch of nutmeg and shaped into firm round balls — the most important Marwari confection, made for every festival, wedding, and auspicious occasion. The ghee-roasting stage requires patience to develop the full nutty depth.
