Ingredients

1 cup wheat flour
1 cup jaggery
1 cup water
2 tablespoons ghee
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1 In a pan, add water and jaggery. Heat until the jaggery dissolves completely, then strain to remove impurities.
  2. 2 In a mixing bowl, combine wheat flour, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. 3 Gradually add the jaggery syrup to the flour mixture, stirring continuously to form a smooth batter.
  4. 4 Heat ghee in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. 5 Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
  6. 6 Cook on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. 7 Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more ghee as needed.
