Ingredients
| 1/4 cup | falooda sev (vermicelli) |
| 2 tablespoons | basil seeds (sabja) |
| 2 cups | milk |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | rose syrup |
| 1 cup | vanilla ice cream |
| 2 tablespoons | chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios) |

Instructions
- 1 Soak the basil seeds in water for about 15 minutes until they swell up and become gelatinous.
- 2 Boil the falooda sev in water for 5-7 minutes until soft, then drain and set aside.
- 3 In a saucepan, heat the milk and add sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
- 4 In serving glasses, add a layer of soaked basil seeds.
- 5 Add a layer of cooked falooda sev over the basil seeds.
- 6 Pour the sweetened milk into the glasses.
- 7 Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each glass.
- 8 Drizzle rose syrup over the ice cream.
- 9 Garnish with chopped nuts and add a few ice cubes if desired.
- 10 Serve immediately with a spoon and straw.
Tips
For a richer taste, use full-fat milk and chill it before serving.
