Ingredients

1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
1 small cucumber, finely chopped
1 small green chili, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chili.
  2. 2 Add the chopped coriander and mint leaves to the bowl.
  3. 3 Sprinkle the red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt over the vegetables.
  4. 4 Drizzle the lemon juice over the mixture.
  5. 5 Toss everything together gently until well combined.
  6. 6 Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.

Tips

For a more refreshing taste, chill the kachumber in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
