Ingredients
| 1 medium | onion, finely chopped |
| 1 medium | tomato, finely chopped |
| 1 small | cucumber, finely chopped |
| 1 small | green chili, finely chopped |
| 2 tablespoons | fresh coriander leaves, chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh mint leaves, chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | lemon juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cumin powder |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chili.
- 2 Add the chopped coriander and mint leaves to the bowl.
- 3 Sprinkle the red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt over the vegetables.
- 4 Drizzle the lemon juice over the mixture.
- 5 Toss everything together gently until well combined.
- 6 Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
Tips
For a more refreshing taste, chill the kachumber in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
