Ingredients
| 4 slices | white bread |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1/4 cup | water |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 2 tablespoons | ghee |
| 2 tablespoons | chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios) |

| — | rose water (a few drops) |
Instructions
- 1 Cut the bread slices into quarters, making small squares.
- 2 Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread pieces until they are golden brown and crisp. Set aside.
- 3 In a separate pan, combine sugar and water to make a sugar syrup. Boil until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 4 Add cardamom powder and saffron strands to the sugar syrup. Stir well.
- 5 Add a few drops of rose water to the syrup for fragrance.
- 6 Dip the fried bread pieces into the sugar syrup, ensuring they are well coated.
- 7 Arrange the syrup-coated bread pieces on a serving plate.
- 8 Garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
