Ingredients
| 1 cup | plain yogurt |
| 1 tablespoon | garlic paste |
| 1 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | fresh coriander leaves, chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | mint leaves, chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | oil |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
- 2 Add the garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt to the yogurt, and mix well.
- 3 Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat.
- 4 Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
- 5 Pour the tempered cumin seeds and oil into the yogurt mixture.
- 6 Mix well and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- 7 Garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves.
- 8 Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Tips
For a tangier flavor, add a few drops of lemon juice to the raita.
