Ingredients

2 large flour tortillas
1 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef
1 cup cooked black beans
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa
1 cup chopped lettuce
1 avocado, sliced
1 lime, cut into wedges
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Warm the flour tortillas on a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  2. 2 Place the warmed tortilla on a flat surface and add a layer of cooked ground beef down the center.
  3. 3 Add a layer of black beans on top of the beef.
  4. 4 Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beans.
  5. 5 Add a spoonful of salsa over the cheese.
  6. 6 Top with chopped lettuce and sliced avocado.
  7. 7 Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. 8 Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll from the bottom to form a burrito.
  9. 9 Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.
  10. 10 Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Tips

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
