2 tablespoons | Mustard oil |

1 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |

1 teaspoon | Green chili paste |

4 pieces | Banana Leaf |

Instructions
- 1 Cut the paneer into thick rectangular slices.
- 2 In a bowl, mix mustard paste, grated coconut, mustard oil, turmeric powder, green chili paste, salt, and sugar to form a smooth marinade.
- 3 Coat the paneer slices with the marinade and let them sit for 15 minutes.
- 4 Lightly roast the banana leaves over an open flame to make them pliable.
- 5 Place a marinated paneer slice in the center of each banana leaf.
- 6 Top each paneer slice with a green chili.
- 7 Fold the banana leaves to wrap the paneer completely and secure with a toothpick or kitchen thread.
- 8 Steam the banana leaf parcels for about 20 minutes in a steamer or a pan with a tight-fitting lid.
- 9 Once done, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
For an authentic flavor, use fresh mustard paste made from yellow and black mustard seeds.
