Ingredients
| 250 grams | fresh prawns, cleaned and deveined |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | black pepper powder |
| 1 teaspoon | coriander powder |
| 1 teaspoon | fennel seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 2 tablespoons | coconut oil |
| 1 sprig | curry leaves |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 In a bowl, marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2 Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 3 Add fennel seeds and curry leaves to the hot oil and sauté until aromatic.
- 4 Add the marinated prawns to the pan and stir well.
- 5 Cook the prawns on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly crispy.
- 6 Remove from heat and serve hot.
Tips
For an authentic taste, use fresh coconut oil and adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
