Ingredients

Prawn 250 grams Prawn , fresh, cleaned and deveined
ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
red chili powder 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
coriander powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
Cumin 1 teaspoon Cumin , powder
black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
lemon juice 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
coconut oil 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
Onion 1 medium Onion , finely sliced
Curry Leaf 2 sprigs Curry Leaf
salt Salt , to taste
Cilantro 1 tablespoon Cilantro , chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 In a bowl, marinate the prawns with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. 2 Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3 Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4 Add curry leaves and stir for a few seconds until aromatic.
  5. 5 Add the marinated prawns to the pan and cook on medium-high heat.
  6. 6 Stir occasionally and cook until the prawns turn opaque and are cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  7. 7 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Tips

For a spicier version, add more red chili powder or a few crushed dried red chilies.
