Ingredients
| 500 grams | chicken drumsticks |
| 1 cup | yogurt |
| 1 tablespoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | ground cumin |
| 1 teaspoon | ground coriander |
| 1 teaspoon | garam masala |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | lemon juice |
| 2 cups | breadcrumbs |
| 2 pieces | eggs |
| — | oil for deep frying |
Instructions
- 1 Clean and pat dry the chicken drumsticks.
- 2 In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to form a marinade.
- 3 Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- 4 Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
- 5 Place breadcrumbs on a plate.
- 6 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 7 Dip each marinated chicken drumstick into the beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
- 8 Fry the coated chicken drumsticks in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes per side.
- 9 Remove and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 10 Serve hot with lemon wedges and salad.
Tips
For best results, marinate the chicken overnight to enhance the flavors.
