Ingredients

500 grams chicken drumsticks
1 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 pieces eggs
oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Clean and pat dry the chicken drumsticks.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to form a marinade.
  3. 3 Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. 4 Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
  5. 5 Place breadcrumbs on a plate.
  6. 6 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  7. 7 Dip each marinated chicken drumstick into the beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  8. 8 Fry the coated chicken drumsticks in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes per side.
  9. 9 Remove and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  10. 10 Serve hot with lemon wedges and salad.
