Ingredients
| 1 cup | buckwheat flour |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1/2 cup | jaggery |
| 1/4 teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| — | ghee for cooking |
| — | pinch of salt |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine buckwheat flour, water, jaggery, baking soda, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
- 2 Mix well to form a smooth batter without lumps.
- 3 Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and grease it lightly with ghee.
- 4 Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it gently to form a small pancake.
- 5 Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to lift, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- 6 Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more ghee as needed.
Tips
Serve warm with a dollop of fresh cream or honey for added sweetness.
