Ingredients

1 cup buckwheat flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup jaggery
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
ghee for cooking
pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl, combine buckwheat flour, water, jaggery, baking soda, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
  2. 2 Mix well to form a smooth batter without lumps.
  3. 3 Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and grease it lightly with ghee.
  4. 4 Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it gently to form a small pancake.
  5. 5 Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to lift, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  6. 6 Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more ghee as needed.

Tips

Serve warm with a dollop of fresh cream or honey for added sweetness.
