2 cups | Poha , flattened rice |

1 cup | Yogurt , plain |
|
1 tablespoon | Sugar |
|
1 teaspoon | Salt |
|
1 tablespoon | Cilantro , chopped |
|
1 teaspoon | Cumin , roasted, powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Black salt |
|
1 tablespoon | Chili , chopped |
|
1 tablespoon | Ginger , chopped |
Instructions
- 1 Rinse the flattened rice (poha) under running water until it softens, then drain it completely.
- 2 In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
- 3 Add sugar, salt, roasted cumin powder, and black salt to the yogurt and mix well.
- 4 Gently fold the softened poha into the yogurt mixture until well combined.
- 5 Add chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, and coriander leaves to the mixture and stir gently.
- 6 Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 7 Serve the Chura Dahi in bowls, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
Tips
For a richer taste, use full-fat yogurt and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
