Ingredients

Poha 2 cups Poha , flattened rice
Yogurt 1 cup Yogurt , plain
sugar 1 tablespoon Sugar
salt 1 teaspoon Salt
Cilantro 1 tablespoon Cilantro , chopped
Cumin 1 teaspoon Cumin , roasted, powder
black salt 1 teaspoon Black salt
Chili 1 tablespoon Chili , chopped
Ginger 1 tablespoon Ginger , chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse the flattened rice (poha) under running water until it softens, then drain it completely.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
  3. 3 Add sugar, salt, roasted cumin powder, and black salt to the yogurt and mix well.
  4. 4 Gently fold the softened poha into the yogurt mixture until well combined.
  5. 5 Add chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, and coriander leaves to the mixture and stir gently.
  6. 6 Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. 7 Serve the Chura Dahi in bowls, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.

Tips

For a richer taste, use full-fat yogurt and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
