1 tablespoon | Red chili powder |

1 teaspoon | Godamasala |

1 teaspoon | Jaggery |

1 tablespoon | Tamarind , pulp |

2 cups | Water |

Instructions
- 1 Roast the peanuts in a pan until golden brown. Allow them to cool, then grind them coarsely.
- 2 Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves.
- 3 Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- 4 Stir in the turmeric powder and red chili powder, and cook for another minute.
- 5 Add the coarsely ground peanuts and mix well.
- 6 Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7 Add goda masala, jaggery, tamarind pulp, and salt. Stir to combine.
- 8 Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the flavors meld together.
- 9 Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
Tips
For a richer taste, you can add a spoonful of coconut milk towards the end of cooking.
