Ingredients

| 1 tablespoon | vegetable oil |
| 1 tablespoon | black sesame seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 tablespoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 1 cup | water |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Dry roast the black sesame seeds in a pan over low heat until they are aromatic, then grind them into a fine powder and set aside.
- 2 Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 3 Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant.
- 4 Add the pork belly cubes to the pot and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- 5 Sprinkle the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt over the pork, stirring well to coat the meat evenly.
- 6 Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7 Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the pork is tender.
- 8 Stir in the ground black sesame seeds and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
- 9 Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve hot.
Tips
For a richer flavor, let the pork marinate in the spices for an hour before cooking.
