Ingredients

1 cup fresh mustard greens
1 cup fresh radish leaves
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon mustard oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Wash the mustard greens and radish leaves thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
  2. 2 Finely chop the mustard greens and radish leaves and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. 3 Peel and finely slice the onion. Add it to the bowl with the greens.
  4. 4 Chop the tomato into small cubes and add it to the bowl.
  5. 5 Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the mixture.
  6. 6 Drizzle the mustard oil and lemon juice over the salad ingredients.
  7. 7 Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  8. 8 Toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
