Ingredients
| 1 cup | fresh mustard greens |
| 1 cup | fresh radish leaves |
| 1 medium | onion |
| 1 medium | tomato |
| 2 cloves | garlic |
| 1 teaspoon | mustard oil |
| 1 teaspoon | lemon juice |
| — | salt to taste |
| — | freshly ground black pepper to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Wash the mustard greens and radish leaves thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
- 2 Finely chop the mustard greens and radish leaves and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 3 Peel and finely slice the onion. Add it to the bowl with the greens.
- 4 Chop the tomato into small cubes and add it to the bowl.
- 5 Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the mixture.
- 6 Drizzle the mustard oil and lemon juice over the salad ingredients.
- 7 Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- 8 Toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
- 9 Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
