Ingredients
| 2 cups | full-fat milk |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | rose water |
| 1 | pinch of cardamom powder |
| 1 | pinch of nutmeg powder |
| 1 | pinch of saffron strands |
Instructions
- 1 Boil the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it reduces slightly, stirring occasionally.
- 2 Add the sugar to the milk and stir until it dissolves completely.
- 3 Remove the milk from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- 4 Once cooled, add rose water, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and saffron strands to the milk and mix well.
- 5 Pour the flavored milk into a shallow dish and refrigerate overnight or until it is very cold.
- 6 The next morning, use a hand whisk or electric beater to whisk the chilled milk until a frothy layer forms on top.
- 7 Carefully spoon the frothy layer (puff) into serving glasses, ensuring each glass gets a generous amount of the puff.
- 8 Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
Tips
For best results, use fresh, high-quality milk and chill it thoroughly before whisking.
