Instructions
- 1 Rinse the beef short ribs under cold water to remove any bone fragments.
- 2 In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, pear juice, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- 3 Place the short ribs in the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 4 Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- 5 Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess liquid drip off.
- 6 Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked through.
- 7 Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Tips
For a more authentic taste, use Korean pear juice. Ensure the ribs are well-marinated for the best flavor.
