Ingredients
| 1/2 cup | extra virgin olive oil |
| 6 cloves | garlic, thinly sliced |
| 1 pound | large shrimp, peeled and deveined |
| 1 teaspoon | sweet Spanish paprika |
| — | salt to taste |
| — | freshly ground black pepper to taste |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh parsley, chopped |
| 1 loaf | crusty bread, for serving |
Instructions
- 1 Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2 Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
- 3 Increase the heat to high and add the shrimp to the skillet.
- 4 Sprinkle the shrimp with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- 5 Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- 6 Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- 7 Serve immediately with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful oil.
Tips
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while cooking the garlic.
