Ingredients
| 1 cup | jaggery |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 cup | rice flour |
| 1 cup | grated coconut |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | ghee |
Instructions
- 1 In a saucepan, combine jaggery and water. Heat gently until the jaggery dissolves completely.
- 2 Strain the jaggery syrup to remove any impurities and return it to the saucepan.
- 3 Bring the jaggery syrup to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
- 4 Gradually add the rice flour to the syrup, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- 5 Add the grated coconut, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- 6 Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
- 7 Add ghee to the mixture and mix well until the ghee is absorbed.
- 8 Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly before serving.
Tips
Ensure continuous stirring to prevent lumps and for a smooth texture.
