Ingredients
| 2 pounds | ribeye steaks |
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh rosemary, chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | black pepper |
| 1 tablespoon | butter |
Instructions
- 1 Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 2 In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary.
- 3 Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
- 4 Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
- 5 Preheat the grill to high heat.
- 6 Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- 7 During the last minute of grilling, place a pat of butter on each steak.
- 8 Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Tips
For the best flavor, use steaks that are at least 1 inch thick and let them rest after grilling to retain juices.
