Ingredients

2 pounds ribeye steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. 1 Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. 2 In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary.
  3. 3 Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
  4. 4 Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
  5. 5 Preheat the grill to high heat.
  6. 6 Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  7. 7 During the last minute of grilling, place a pat of butter on each steak.
  8. 8 Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Tips

For the best flavor, use steaks that are at least 1 inch thick and let them rest after grilling to retain juices.
