Ingredients
| 2 | ripe avocados |
| 1 | lime, juiced |
| 1 | small onion, finely chopped |
| 2 | Roma tomatoes, diced |
| 1 | jalapeño, seeded and minced |
| 2 tablespoons | fresh cilantro, chopped |
| — | salt to taste |
| — | black pepper to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- 2 Mash the avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
- 3 Add the lime juice immediately to prevent browning.
- 4 Mix in the chopped onion, diced tomatoes, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
- 5 Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6 Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
- 7 Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Tips
For a spicier guacamole, include the seeds of the jalapeño or add more chili.
