Ingredients

2 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
salt to taste
black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. 2 Mash the avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
  3. 3 Add the lime juice immediately to prevent browning.
  4. 4 Mix in the chopped onion, diced tomatoes, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
  5. 5 Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. 6 Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
  7. 7 Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Tips

For a spicier guacamole, include the seeds of the jalapeño or add more chili.
