Ingredients

1 cup | Jackfruit , ripe, pulp |

1 cup | Rice flour |

1 cup | Jaggery |
|
1 teaspoon | Cardamom , powder |
|
1 pinch | Salt |
|
as needed | Water |

as needed | Oil , for frying |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the ripe jackfruit pulp and jaggery. Mix well until the jaggery dissolves completely.
- 2 Add rice flour, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt to the jackfruit mixture.
- 3 Gradually add water to the mixture to form a thick, smooth batter.
- 4 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 5 Once the oil is hot, drop small spoonfuls of the batter into the oil.
- 6 Fry the happala until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- 7 Remove the fried happala and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- 8 Serve warm as a snack or dessert.
Tips
Ensure the oil is not too hot to prevent the happala from browning too quickly before cooking through.
