Ingredients
| 1 cup | fresh coriander leaves |
| 2 tablespoons | fresh mint leaves |
| 1 medium | green chili |
| 1 inch | ginger |
| 2 cloves | garlic |
| 1 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 1 tablespoon | lemon juice |
| — | salt to taste |
| 1 teaspoon | sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | water |
Instructions
- 1 Wash the coriander and mint leaves thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
- 2 Roughly chop the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chili, ginger, and garlic.
- 3 In a blender, add the chopped coriander, mint, green chili, ginger, garlic, and cumin seeds.
- 4 Add lemon juice, salt, sugar, and water to the blender.
- 5 Blend all the ingredients until you get a smooth paste.
- 6 Taste and adjust the salt or lemon juice if needed.
- 7 Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.
Tips
For a thicker consistency, reduce the amount of water. This chutney pairs well with parathas and snacks.
