Mizo sweet rice preparation — glutinous rice cooked with jaggery and sesame seeds into a dense, chewy confection, moulded into balls or squares and eaten as a festival sweet. Made at Mim Kut (the festival of the dead) and Pawl Kut (the harvest festival), the sesame giving it a nutty depth against the jaggery's richness.
