| 1 cup | sauerkraut |
| 1 cup | shredded cheddar cheese |
| 1 tablespoon | butter |

Instructions
- 1 Preheat a grill or a stovetop pan over medium heat.
- 2 Place the hot dogs on the grill or pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are heated through and have grill marks.
- 3 While the hot dogs are cooking, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat.
- 4 Add the sauerkraut to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until it's warm and slightly golden.
- 5 Toast the hot dog buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned.
- 6 Place a hot dog in each bun.
- 7 Top each hot dog with a portion of sauerkraut and shredded cheddar cheese.
- 8 Add mustard, ketchup, and relish to taste.
- 9 Serve immediately while hot.
