Ingredients

3 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons ghee
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ginger
2 green chilies
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon amchur powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Boil the potatoes until tender, peel them, and cut into cubes.
  2. 2 Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3 Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  4. 4 Add grated ginger and slit green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  5. 5 Add the boiled potato cubes and stir well.
  6. 6 Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, amchur powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  7. 7 Mix everything gently, ensuring the potatoes are well coated with spices.
  8. 8 Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. 9 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.

Tips

For a tangy twist, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
