Ingredients

1 cup | Poha , flattened rice |

1 cup | Yogurt |
|
1 cup | Jaggery , grated |
|
1 cup | Milk , full-fat |
|
1 tablespoon | Sugar |
|
1 pinch | Salt |
|
1 handful | Nut , chopped (cashews, almonds) |
|
1 tablespoon | Raisin |
|
1 teaspoon | Ghee |
Instructions
- 1 Rinse the flattened rice gently in water and drain it well.
- 2 In a bowl, mix the rinsed flattened rice with curd and a pinch of salt.
- 3 In a small pan, heat ghee and roast the assorted nuts and raisins until golden brown.
- 4 Add the roasted nuts and raisins to the flattened rice and curd mixture.
- 5 In another bowl, mix milk with grated jaggery and sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- 6 Serve the flattened rice mixture with the sweetened milk on the side or poured over.
Tips
Use fresh curd for a tangy flavor and adjust sweetness by varying jaggery and sugar.
