Ingredients

2 cups water
2 tablespoons black tea leaves
4 tablespoons sugar
4 pods cardamom, crushed
1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. 1 Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Add the black tea leaves, sugar, and crushed cardamom pods to the boiling water.
  3. 3 Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4 Add the evaporated milk to the saucepan and stir well.
  5. 5 Allow the mixture to simmer for another 5 minutes, ensuring it does not boil over.
  6. 6 Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.

Tips

Adjust the sugar and cardamom to your taste preference. For a richer flavor, simmer the tea longer.
