Ingredients

200 grams pork, cut into small pieces
1 cup green leafy vegetables (like spinach or mustard greens)
1 cup potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 inch ginger, crushed
2 cups water
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
salt to taste
fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 In a pot, add the pork pieces and water. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
  3. 3 Add the sliced onions, crushed garlic, and ginger to the pot.
  4. 4 Let it simmer for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the pork is partially cooked.
  5. 5 Add the cubed potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. 6 Add the green leafy vegetables and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. 7 Check the seasoning and adjust salt if necessary.
  8. 8 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Tips

For a more authentic flavor, use mustard oil for cooking.
