Ingredients
| 200 grams | pork, cut into small pieces |
| 1 cup | green leafy vegetables (like spinach or mustard greens) |
| 1 cup | potatoes, peeled and cubed |
| 1 medium | onion, sliced |
| 2 cloves | garlic, crushed |
| 1 inch | ginger, crushed |
| 2 cups | water |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| — | salt to taste |
| — | fresh coriander leaves for garnish |
Instructions
- 1 In a pot, add the pork pieces and water. Bring to a boil.
- 2 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
- 3 Add the sliced onions, crushed garlic, and ginger to the pot.
- 4 Let it simmer for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the pork is partially cooked.
- 5 Add the cubed potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes.
- 6 Add the green leafy vegetables and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- 7 Check the seasoning and adjust salt if necessary.
- 8 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
Tips
For a more authentic flavor, use mustard oil for cooking.
