Ingredients
| 3 | ripe bananas |
| 1 cup | jaggery |
| 1 cup | coconut milk |
| 2 tablespoons | ghee |
| 1 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 10 | cashew nuts |
| 10 | raisins |
| 1 pinch | salt |
Instructions
- 1 Peel and mash the ripe bananas thoroughly in a bowl.
- 2 In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and roast the cashew nuts and raisins until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- 3 In the same pan, add the remaining ghee and the mashed bananas. Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- 4 Add the jaggery to the bananas and mix well until the jaggery melts completely and blends with the banana mixture.
- 5 Slowly pour in the coconut milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- 6 Add the cardamom powder and a pinch of salt, and continue to cook until the mixture thickens to a halwa consistency, approximately 10-15 minutes.
- 7 Garnish with the roasted cashew nuts and raisins before serving.
Tips
Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness and flavor.
