Ingredients

1 cup sugar
2 cups water
1 tablespoon kewra essence
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon green cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1 In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. 2 Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sugar syrup cool to room temperature.
  3. 3 Once cooled, add the kewra essence, lemon juice, green cardamom powder, and salt to the syrup. Stir well to combine.
  4. 4 Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.
  5. 5 Pour the kewra sharbat over the ice cubes in each glass.
  6. 6 Stir gently and serve immediately.

Tips

Adjust the amount of kewra essence to your preference for a stronger or milder aroma.
