Ingredients
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 2 cups | water |
| 1 tablespoon | kewra essence |
| 1 teaspoon | lemon juice |
| 1/4 teaspoon | green cardamom powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
| — | ice cubes |
Instructions
- 1 In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 2 Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sugar syrup cool to room temperature.
- 3 Once cooled, add the kewra essence, lemon juice, green cardamom powder, and salt to the syrup. Stir well to combine.
- 4 Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.
- 5 Pour the kewra sharbat over the ice cubes in each glass.
- 6 Stir gently and serve immediately.
Tips
Adjust the amount of kewra essence to your preference for a stronger or milder aroma.
