Ingredients
| 250 grams | pork, cut into cubes |
| 1 cup | mustard leaves, chopped |
| 1 cup | potatoes, peeled and cubed |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 3 pieces | green chilies, slit |
| 1 tablespoon | ginger, grated |
| 1 tablespoon | garlic, minced |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | mustard oil |
| — | water as needed |
Instructions
- 1 Heat mustard oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 2 Add garlic and ginger, sauté until golden brown.
- 3 Add pork cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- 4 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well to coat the pork.
- 5 Add potatoes and green chilies, mix well.
- 6 Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, bring to a boil.
- 7 Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 8 Add mustard leaves, stir, and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes until the pork and potatoes are tender.
- 9 Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
Tips
For a more authentic taste, use fresh mustard leaves and adjust the chili to your spice preference.
