| 1 liter | colostrum milk |
| 1 cup | regular milk |
| 3/4 cup | jaggery |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | nutmeg powder |
| 1 pinch | saffron strands |
| 1 tablespoon | ghee |
| — | chopped nuts (optional) |
Instructions
- 1 In a large mixing bowl, combine colostrum milk and regular milk.
- 2 Add jaggery to the milk mixture and stir until it dissolves completely.
- 3 Mix in cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and saffron strands.
- 4 Grease a steaming container with ghee.
- 5 Pour the milk mixture into the prepared container.
- 6 Place the container in a steamer and steam for about 30-35 minutes or until the mixture sets.
- 7 Remove from the steamer and let it cool to room temperature.
- 8 Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- 9 Garnish with chopped nuts before serving, if desired.
Tips
Ensure the jaggery is fully dissolved to avoid lumps in the final dish.
