Ingredients

1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup water
1 cup spinach leaves
1 cup radish leaves
1 tablespoon mustard oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 In a bowl, mix wheat flour with water to form a soft dough.
  2. 2 Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Chop the spinach and radish leaves finely.
  4. 4 Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. 5 Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  6. 6 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  7. 7 Add chopped spinach and radish leaves to the pan.
  8. 8 Season with salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder.
  9. 9 Cook until the greens are wilted and tender.
  10. 10 Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into thin circles.
  11. 11 Place a portion of the cooked greens in the center of each circle.
  12. 12 Fold the edges over the filling to form a dumpling shape.
  13. 13 Steam the dumplings for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Tips

Serve with a side of yogurt or chutney for added flavor.
