Ingredients
| 1 cup | grated coconut |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1/4 cup | milk |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 1 tablespoon | ghee |
| 1 tablespoon | chopped almonds |
| 1 tablespoon | chopped cashews |
| 1 tablespoon | chopped pistachios |
Instructions
- 1 Heat ghee in a pan and roast the grated coconut on low flame until it turns light golden brown.
- 2 Add milk to the roasted coconut and mix well.
- 3 Stir in the sugar and continue to cook on low flame until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- 4 Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- 5 Grease a plate or tray with a little ghee and spread the mixture evenly on it.
- 6 Sprinkle chopped almonds, cashews, and pistachios on top and press gently.
- 7 Allow it to cool and set for about 30 minutes.
- 8 Cut into desired shapes and serve.
Tips
Ensure the coconut is roasted on low flame to prevent burning and achieve a rich flavor.
