| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 | bamboo skewers |
| 2 tablespoons | lime juice |
| 1 | banana leaf |
Instructions
- 1 Cut the pork belly into small cubes.
- 2 In a bowl, mix the pork cubes with mustard oil, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and lime juice.
- 3 Marinate the pork for at least 30 minutes.
- 4 Soak bamboo skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
- 5 Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the skewers.
- 6 Wrap the skewers with a banana leaf to enhance the flavor.
- 7 Grill the skewers over medium heat, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred, about 20-25 minutes.
- 8 Serve hot with a side of chutney or steamed rice.
Tips
For an authentic smoky flavor, grill the skewers over charcoal.
