Ingredients
| 1 cup | buckwheat flour |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 | pinch of salt |
| 1 tablespoon | butter or ghee |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the buckwheat flour and a pinch of salt.
- 2 Gradually add water to the flour, stirring continuously to form a smooth batter.
- 3 Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or ghee.
- 4 Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
- 5 Cook until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- 6 Flip the pancake and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
- 7 Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more butter or ghee as needed.
Tips
Serve the Khura warm with butter or honey for an authentic Ladakhi experience.
