Ingredients

Banana 3 medium Banana , ripe, preferably Nendran variety
Coconut 1/4 cup Coconut , grated
Cashew Nut 2 tablespoons Cashew Nut , chopped
Raisin 2 tablespoons Raisin
sugar 1 teaspoon Sugar
cardamom 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom , powder
salt 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Flour 1/2 cup Flour
Semolina 1/4 cup Semolina
oil Oil , for deep frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Peel and mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. 2 Add grated coconut, chopped cashew nuts, raisins, sugar, cardamom powder, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  3. 3 Gradually add all-purpose flour and semolina to the banana mixture to form a dough-like consistency.
  4. 4 Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into round balls or koftas.
  5. 5 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  6. 6 Once the oil is hot, carefully add the koftas in batches and fry until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. 7 Remove the koftas from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  8. 8 Serve hot as a snack or with a side of chutney.
